Equity Partners Capital is a joint stock company established to raise, manage, and pool private capital. As a PORTFOLIO manager, we specialize in acquiring businesses across Bulgaria and other EU countries, operating each transaction through separately nominated SPVs.
Our strategy combines equity capital with additional debt financing, working closely with existing business owners to ensure growth and legacy preservation. We aim to grow each acquired company into a regional leader in its sector, executing liquidity events that deliver high returns for our investors.

Gencho Kerezov
Chief Executive Officer
Gencho Kerezov served as Deputy Mayor of Sofia (2020 - 2023). Responsible for the digital transformation and economic growth, he fostered Sofia’s uprising in Financial Times’ FDIs ranking for attractive business destinations, introduced BPO in the City Hall governance, transformed digital services for citizens and established the municipality’s Smart City investment program “Sandbox for innovation”. Kerezov is co-founder and CEO of leading marketing agency ANOMALY.BG, with reputable clients in FMCG, finance, e-commerce, consumer and B2B services, tech, healthcare, fashion, real estate, etc. He has extensive background in organizational management and business development with Allianz Bulgaria and Allianz SE. As part of Allianz CEE’s negotiating team, Kerezov participated in the 15B$ deal for UniCredit’s bancassurance business with 15-year exclusivity in the region. Gencho holds a degree in International Economic Relations from University of National and World Economy in Sofia and Masters in Insurance and Risk Management from MIB School of Management - Trieste, Italy.
Boyan Pavlov
Chairman of the Board
Boyan has 20 years of real estate experience, investing in distressed assets, both in the USA and in Bulgaria. During one of his last deals, Boyan led the negotiation of what turned out to be a very complex acquisition of multiple land plots in order to obtain a residential construction permit for the property. Always looking at the big picture, while the previous deal was not completely closed yet, Boyan negotiated a €10 million euro sale of the consolidated land block, achieving almost 100% cash on cash return for his investment group. In addition, Boyan is involved the IT/Tech industry as the Chairman of the board of Zekeng JSC, a full service hardware and software engineering studio with great expertise in miniaturization mechanics, embedded software and in general product development, scaling from large IoT devices to small medical wearables.
Kristiyan Mihaylov
Board member - Portfolio and Analytics
Kristiyan Mihaylov is a co-founder and Board Member of the Professional Association of Robotics, Automation, and Innovations (PARAi). He actively fosters innovation and cross-industry collaboration, taking a hands-on approach to business operations. Under his leadership, PARAi has united over 90 companies to advance its vision of positioning Bulgaria as a technological leader in Central and Eastern Europe. Kristiyan is also a co-founder of a robotics incubator, a robotics business, and an industry forum. A frequent guest lecturer at leading events and a co-author of technology reports, he brings over a decade of experience in business development across various markets. He holds an MBA from UNWE and certifications in Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia and Boston Consulting Group, a YTILI Fellow (2023).
Yonko Chuklev
Chief Financial Officer
Yonko Chuklev holds an LLM Master of Law from Sofia University and a qualification in Alternative Investments from The London School of Economics. His specialty is in operational strategy, regulatory and legal compliance, budget management, and financial planning, Yonko is the youngest board member of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, a lecturer in finance and business planning, and a keynote speaker in multiple event panels related to business and technology.
Stefan Tzvetkov
Chief Legal Officer
Stefan Tzvetkov is a Bulgarian lawyer specializing in corporate, commercial, banking and finance law with extensive focus on IT, tech & startup. His expertise is on drafting all types of contracts, negotiating & closing complex and time-sensitive cross-border M&A deals.
Vasil Shandurkov
Investor Relations
Vasil holds a MSc in International Business with Disruptive Innovations profile and builds trade strategies of boutique bizairline. He is an experienced professional in various economic sectors with proven track record in building bridges between companies, cultures, people. His passion is to work in dynamic international environments with people from diverse cultures in order to achieve common goals and positively influence local economies. Vasil is best self-described as a “addicted sales traveller”, who undertakes variety of journeys, leading people to win win deals and communication.

Emil Kirilov
Technology Analyst
Emil holds a Master’s degree in Audio and video technologies from Technical University of Sofia. CEO and co-founder of Zekeng JSC., a Sofia-based engineering company specializing in hardware, embedded systems, prototyping, and product development. With a background in electronics and design, he has led Zekeng’s evolution from a PCB design studio into a full-scale innovation hub developing both industrial and consumer products.

Alexandra holds a Master’s degree in Finance, Investment & Fintech from Sofia University. Fluent in 5 languages, she is a passionate and devout professional who seeks challenges on a daily basis. She adds tremendous value with her interdisciplinary focus and meticulous approach to each task she tackles.
Dimitar Spassov
Chairman of Advisory Board
Dimitar is longtime CEO of Billa Bulgaria / REWE Group and CEO of Kaufland Bulgaria / Schwarz Gruppe. In addition to managing the largest employer in the country, with yearly turnover of more the €1 billion, Dimitar holds a degree in Banking & Finance, alongside a MSc in International business.
